As a step towards bridging this gap between industry and academics ASIET has joined hands with some of the leading names in INDIA. College has signed MOU’s with Infosys, IEEE, ICT academy of Kerala, SAP, and Start-up-village. Various student chapters work towards achieving this goal.

 

MoU with IGA Tech

EC department has signed an MoU with IGA TECH Industrial Electronics Pvt Ltd. IGA TECH can give valuable inputs to the institution suitable to customize the curriculum and in teaching/training methodology so that students fit into the industrial scenario meaningfully

ICT Academy of Kerala is a Social Enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model

(PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability

Govt. of Kerala and the ICT industry.

BOOT CAMP

AdiShankara Institute of Engineering and Technology proved to be the stage for yet another exciting student venture inMarch, 2015 through Technology Business Incubators (TBI)'s Startup Boot Camp Chapter. The students have managedto set up a full-fledged Boot Camp in the institute with the help of Startup Village, the college management and TBI.Named as AdiShankara Boot Camp (ABC), the chapter will aim at improving the entrepreneurship and technical skillsof passionate students and at the same time, coming out with produces which would have the potential of generating revenue.

The Executive committee of AdiShankara Boot Camp for the session 2017-2018 is as listed below. The selection of Executive Committee members were based on the rules stated by KSUM( Kerala Start up Mission).

Industry supported laboratories

 

  • Intel Intelligence System Lab set up in the campus
    • Personnel from Intel had given hands on training on Intel Galelio board to students and staff as well.
    • The Intel lab is utilised by the students for doing their projects.
  • The college has invested in set up of FAB Lab during the academic year 2016-2017 which will be much beneficial for faculty members/ students of various streams. The FAB LAB  facility features by giving them access to a range of advanced digital manufacturing technology.

The global FAB Lab Network connects people, communities and businesses across the world and enabling encouraged making maximum use of FAB Labs for converting their innovative idea into projects and college is at all set for applying various funding schemes for the same.
