Basic Science & Humanities

The Basic Science and Humanities Department is fundamental to all engineering studies. The science department feeds the budding engineers with finer aspects of science which makes them understand, exploit and innovate new arenas which contribute to the technological advancements of tomorrow. Humanities enable students to imbibe the best humane and professional values. The department also provides Physics, Chemistry for the students with a well equipped laboratories

The Department comprises 14 qualified, efficient and committed faculties in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics. The department’s research dynamics and academic drive are upheld by its core team of seven research scholars

Activities of the department are primarily focussed on imparting theoretical knowledge along with its application in the practical world. Department Clubs and its activities are one way of generating student’s interest in scientific, creative and Mathematical skills. Organizing activities and Celebrating important days such as National Science day, National Mathematics day provides a platform to the budding Engineers to show case their creative and technical talents in the field of Engineering. Department is  always concerned to produce high quality Engineers with requisite in-depth knowledge in sciences that helps to develop newer technologies of future.
