The department of Computer Science and Engineering offer an undergraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering. Established in the year 2001 (being one of the earliest department under a self-financing management in Kerala) with more than a decade old history, the department is proud to be a nurturing ground for computer science professionals who are capable of taking up challenges in industry and research and development organizations.
Department has a diverse group of motivated researchers with a focus on emerging areas such as Processor & Architecture Study, Image Processing, Data Analytics, Network Security, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Distributed Algorithms, Nature Inspired algorithms, Image Segmentation, Neural Networks etc. Three research labs i.e Multimedia, Data Analytics and Bioinformatics Research Lab caters to the yearning of students focussed towards research and development of real time, socially challenging solutions.

Engineering Knowledge-: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Problem Analysis-: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Design / Development of Solutions-: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
