Ms. Akhila K is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, where she has served since 11/06/2016. She obtained her B. Tech from MG University in 2007, followed by Master of Engineering (by Research) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2015. Currently she is pursuing her PhD (Part Time) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
Ms. Akhila’s research interests are focused on smart grid resilience, data analytics and machine learning applications to improve resilience in grids. She has shared her expertise by publishing research papers in various national and international journals and conferences. Ms. Akhila has a wealth of experience in teaching, having devoted 9 years to educating students.
Furthermore, Ms. Akhila has participated in various hand-on trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and Faculty Development Programs. She has also completed MOOC courses through NPTEL, Coursera and Internshala. She is particularly interested in Data Science and has undergone a Data Science Bootcamp by Simplilearn and has also recieved a Data Science Specialization Certification from Internshala
