Dr. Vinay T V joined as Assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering in December 2022. He did his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University in the year 2010. He qualified GATE 2010 and obtained his M. Tech degree in Nanotechnology from NIT Calicut in the year 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree from School of Material Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut in the year 2022. He has a total of 4.5 years of teaching experience prior to joining ASIET. He has four scientific papers to his credit in prestigious international journals. He has presented his works in four international conferences. His areas of research interests include microfluidics, active soft matter, wettability, soft robotics and advanced materials. He has delivered technical talks in sessions for students and faculty in FDPs and seminars. He co-ordinates placement and training activities of the departments.
