Dr. Rahul S Arackal
Dr. Rahul S Arackal
Assistant Professor

Dr. Rahul S. Arackal is an Assiatant Professor of Mechanical Engineering department, where he has served since 07/11/2022. He obtained his B Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University in 2009, followed by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University in 2012 and he earned his Ph.D. from NIT Calicut.

Dr. Rahul’s research interests are focused on the field of fluid mechanics and aeroacoustics. He has co-authored several papers on topics such as the effect of plate length and surface roughness on the flow and noise characteristics of wall jets. His work often explores the complex interactions between fluid dynamics and acoustic emissions, providing insights that are valuable for both academic research and practical applications in engineering. He has presented his research at various national and international conferences. His research includes detailed investigations on the noise emissions from low Reynolds number wall jets, which he discussed at the INTER-NOISE 2017 conference in Hong Kong. His work is significant for those studying fluid mechanics, particularly in the context of reducing noise pollution and improving aerodynamic performance. He has contributed to the academic community by serving as a reviewer for international journal and In addition, Dr. Rahul has organized a national conference, demonstrating his leadership and organizational skills in the academic community.
