Dr. Anand Krishnamoorthy did his research work at Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII), Rubber Board, Kottayam and awarded PhD from from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India. He was a Senior Research Fellow at RRII in a Rubber Board, Govt. of India funded research project “Preparation and Applications of Nanodispersions in Latex Technology”. Before submitting his PhD thesis, he was selected as Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kerala. After 6 years of working in academia, he moved to Industry and worked as Executive (Research and Technical Services) at Apcotex Industries Limited, Navi Mumbai and then as Deputy Manager (Research & Development) at Primus Gloves Pvt. Ltd. in Cochin Special Economic Zone, Kakkanad, Kerala. After having 2 years of professional experience in polymer industry, switched to academia to mentor and guide young professionals. He joined Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) as Associate Professor of Chemistry on October 2023. His research areas and research interests are in Polymer Science, Rubber Technology, Renewable Chemicals and Materials, Nanotechnology & Materials Science. He published research and review articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed several book chapters.
