The project titled "UAV incorporating Infrasonic Transmitter for Bird Deterrence and Field Surveillance” got global recognition securing first runner up position in the IEEE Industrial Application Society CMD Humanitarian Contest 2023 under the IAS chapter advisor, Dr. Deepa Sankar, HoD, EEE Department. The project team was guided by Ms. Hima T, Asst. Professor, EEE department, ASIET with student members Ms. S. Radhika Menon, Ms. P S Swathy, Mr. Sandeep Suresh, Mr. J Adarsh. The winners will receive awards during IEEE IAS Annual Meeting at Tennessee , USA. This project proposes a novel and cost effective solution for the loss of agricultural crops due to bird and pest attacks, incorporated in an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with an inbuilt camera.
