Two units of National service scheme scheme is functioning at ASIET with an aim to mould social engineers who are capable of understanding the problems of the society and find the solutions for their needs. The objective of NSS is personality development through community service. NSS is encouraging the spirit of volunteerism and undertaking various community based projects. Volunteers of ASIET attended the International youth exchange program to Russia and National integration camps in various States of India. NSS units of ASIET bagged awards from Directorate of technical education, government of Kerala for the best NSS unit, Best program officer, best volunteer and best swachh bharat intern. Medical camps, blood donation camps, environment protection activities, farming activities ,water conservation activities, energy conservation activities, awareness programs, Punarjjani project for renovation of equipment at Government hospitals, Nature camps, skill development programs, home for homeless etc are the works carried out by the NSS unit.
