The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology is organizing a Six Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Sustainable Energy Systems and Smart Technologies: Bridging Academia and Industry” from 15 to 20 June 2026 in hybrid mode. The programme aims to provide participants with exposure to the latest developments in sustainable energy systems and smart technologies while bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial applications. It focuses on key areas such as sustainable energy technologies, intelligent power systems, wide bandgap power electronics, renewable energy integration, and industry oriented power system simulation tools, thereby enabling participants to understand the evolving role of electrical engineering in developing future ready energy infrastructure.
The FDP is intended for faculty members, industry professionals, postgraduate students, and research scholars. The registration fee is Rs.600 for faculty and industry professionals and Rs.400 for PG and research scholars. The last date for registration is 10 June 2026.
