Indian Knowledge System (IKS)

Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) is an innovative initiative under the Ministry of Education (MoE) at AICTE, New Delhi. It was established to promote interdisciplinary research on various aspects of IKS, as well as to preserve and disseminate this knowledge for further research and societal applications.

We incorporate values and Traditional Indian Knowledge into our engineering programs to promote the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). ASIET is dedicated to blending IKS with modern engineering science, offering students a holistic educational journey grounded in values and traditional knowledge. Some activities that the institute undertake to promote Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) are as follows:

  •  Thyagaraja Aaradhana

To uphold Indian culture and heritage, ASIET involves faculty and students in a range of activities like "Thyagaraja Aradhana," featuring recitals of Pancharatna Kritis, performances showcasing classical music and dance forms of India, as integral parts of annual National Techno-Cultural Festival "Brahma."
