Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

Dealing with liquid wastes is one of the biggest challenges of urban sanitation. Liquid waste management requires capital investment, skilled personnel etc. In ASIET using STP the waste water is treated later the treated water is used for gardening and other purposes. The treatment process involves the following steps. A sewage treatment plant for treating the liquid waste generated in the campus having a capacity of 40000 litres per day is operating inside the campus.

Waste Water Recycling System

The four processes are: 

  • Preliminary Treatment

  • Primary Treatment

  • Secondary or Biological Treatment and

  • Tertiary or Advanced Treatment.

An agreement is made with AQUA TECHSOLE ESTABLISHMENT for maintenance and operation of the STP.
