The Career Guidance Session on Medical Device Regulations was successfully conducted on March 21, 2025, at the Main Seminar Hall, ASIET, Kalady, organized by the Department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering in collaboration with EBSAA and the Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI). The session aimed to provide insights into medical device regulations, career opportunities, and industry expectations for biomedical engineers. The event featured expert speakers from leading medical technology companies, including Mr. Sinto Poulose (Director, IQZyme Medtech Pvt. Ltd.), Mrs. Selma S (Director, IQZyme Medtech Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Bibin Varghese (Senior Manager - Technical, B4 Edtech Pvt. Ltd.), who shared their expertise on regulatory frameworks, compliance challenges, and career pathways in the medical technology sector. Students actively participated in discussions, gaining valuable industry insights and professional guidance. The session was highly informative and provided a strong foundation for aspiring biomedical engineers to explore careers in medical device regulations and compliance.
