As part of World Cancer Day, the Department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering (EBE) at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET), in association with EBSAA and NSS Units, organized an insightful webinar on Stem Cell Donation Awareness on 1st February 2025.The session featured Ms. Athulya A K, Associate Manager - Donor Recruitment and Counselling, DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry, who provided valuable insights into the life-saving potential of stem cell donation. She elaborated on the fundamentals of stem cells, their critical role in treating life-threatening diseases like leukemia and lymphoma, and the immense social impact of donation.The interactive session allowed participants to engage directly with experts, dispelling myths and understanding the significance of donor registries. The webinar served as an eye-opening experience, inspiring attendees to consider becoming potential donors and contribute to a greater cause.This impactful event successfully raised awareness about stem cell donation, emphasizing the message "Donate Hope, Save Lives – Be the Miracle with Stem Cells!"
