The inauguration of the BMESI Student Chapter at our institution marked a significant milestone as we embraced the theme "Transforming Challenges to Breakthroughs." The event, held on February 3, 2024, in the Seminar Hall, witnessed active participation from both faculty and students (EBE). We were honored to have Dr. Muralidhar Bairy G, Joint Secretary of BMESI, India, and Professor and HOD of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), as our esteemed Chief Guest. Additionally, Mr. Edmond Paul, Managing Director of Praxia Health, Kochi, and GM Biomedical and Corporate Procurement at Wockhardt Hospital Ltd., graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Following the inauguration, our distinguished guests delivered insightful expert talks, sharing their experiences and knowledge with the audience. This event served as a platform to unite the biomedical engineering community, providing inspiration and valuable insights into overcoming challenges and achieving breakthroughs in our academic and professional pursuits.
