Senior Grade Assistant Professor (Pursuing Ph.D)

Ms. Pravitha K. Nair is a Senior Grade Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, where she has been serving since February 4, 2013. She was promoted to Senior Grade Assistant Professor on October 1, 2023. She has over 15 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, having begun her academic career in 2007.

She completed her Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from Mar Athanasius College Kothamangalam in 2004 and her Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Union Christian College Aluva in 2006. She also holds a B.Ed. in Mathematics and has qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET). Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Mahatma Gandhi University.

Her research interests include Applied Mathematics, Differential Equations, and Numerical Methods, with a focus on analytical and computational approaches to solving mathematical problems. She is actively engaged in academic teaching and mentoring students in foundational and advanced mathematics.
