Shany Jophin

Assistant Professor (Pursuing PhD)

Shany Jophin is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department, where she has served since 05th June 2025. She is a passionate and experienced educator with over 8 years of teaching experience across premier institutions in India and UAE in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. She joined the field with a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering under Kannur University in 2011, followed by a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) in 2013. She is pursuing her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalasalingam academy of research and education.

Shany has served in prominent roles such as Assistant Professor at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and as a Licensed Educator under the UAE Ministry of Education, where she demonstrated her capacity to align global standards with localized pedagogy. Her diverse teaching portfolio is complemented by hands-on technical skills in programming and certifications in CCNA and Cyber Forensics.

Her research interests lie in the domains of Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Networks. Her academic contributions include several publications in IEEE and Springer conferences.

Coordinator from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and Participated in an environmental awareness programme held at the Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady, organized by the Kerala Forest & Wildlife Department.
Coordinated a two-day Digital Photography Workshop titled "MEGAPIXELS", organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering in association with CSI Cochin Chapter.
