Assistant Professor

Neethu James completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, securing First Class with Distinction, from St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology, Palai. She earned her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha. She received a Silver Medal for ranking among the Top 1% of learners in an NPTEL MOOC course.

She has over five years of industry experience as an SAP Business One Technical Consultant and Developer, specializing in SAP Business One customization, add-on development, and technical support. She has also contributed as a blog writer and provided online consulting services to IT companies.

Alongside her industry experience, she has actively contributed to academic research. She published the research paper titled "FSBI++: Improving Deepfake Detection with a Hybrid CNN-ViT Model" in the International Journal of Applied Engineering Research. Another research paper, "Improving Skin Cancer Segmentation and Classification Using a U-Net-Based Hybrid Model," was accepted at the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Electronics and Computational Systems (IECS) 2026.

Her research interests include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Image Processing.
