Assistant Professor

Dr Sreedevi R Krishnan has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering since March 2023. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, in July 2025.

She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MG University, Kerala, and an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Vinayaka Mission’s University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, as well as a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Technical Education Board, Kerala. With over 19 years of teaching and 5.5 years of research experience, Dr Sreedevi brings extensive academic expertise. She previously served for 15 years at SNM Institute of Management & Technology, Maliankara, and began her academic career in 2007 as Assistant Professor at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady.

She has delivered expert lectures in Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Networks, and Cryptography. Her primary research interests are in Deep Learning and Computer Vision.

Dr. Sreedevi served as the co-coordinator of the ATAL FDP in January 2024 and coordinated the TCS online FEPs conducted in June and July 2025. She authored a book on Java Programming (2024) and received a patent titled Robot to Guide Visitors in August 2024. She contributes as a reviewer for reputed Scopus-indexed journals and has presented papers at international and national conferences. In addition, she has actively participated in numerous seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programmes, and is a permanent member of ISTE.
