Dr PREM SANKAR R is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering Technology (ASIET) in Kalady, Kerala.

He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 2003, followed by a Master's degree (MTech) in Production Engineering from Govt Engineering college, Thrissur in 2010. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai in 2022.
