Sreedeep Krishnan
Associate Professor (Pursuing PhD)

Sreedeep Krishnan is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering. He has more than 12 years of teaching experience and a few years of core industrial experience. He is associated with the Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology since June 2011. Over that period, he has worked in various capacities as Head of the Department of Robotics and Automation, Assistant Professor in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, First-year Hostel Warden, staff in charge of many Professional bodies, in charge of various institutional cells, etc. 

Sreedeep Krishnan started his journey of technical education in the year 2000 with an engineering Diploma in Applied Electronics. He took his Engineering Degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from M G University in the year 2007. He completed his Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University in the year 2011. He is currently pursuing PhD in the area "Field Robotics in Agriculture" from the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Tamilnadu.

Prof. Sreedeep Krishnan’s research areas are Power Electronics, Industrial Automation Robotics, Artificial Intelligence applications in agriculture, etc. He has published many research papers in various reputed international journals and conferences. His current projects include Collaborative robots, vision systems in agriculture and the application of machine learning techniques in field robots. In addition, he mentored more than 25 academic projects during his teaching carrier. Also, he has organized conferences, FDPs and workshops demonstrating his leadership and organizational skills. 
His Professional affiliations include the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Robotics Society of India, and the Instrumentation society of India.
