Associate Professor

Ms Athira M is an associate professor of Robotics and Automation department. she obtained her B Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering form University of Calicut in the year 1998 followed by a Masters degree in Power Electronics from JawaharLal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad in the year 2004. She completed PhD degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Ms Athira’s research domain pertains to the power electronic system design and control for microgrid and robotic systems. She has 3 international journals and 4 conferences to her credit. Ms Athira M possess extensive breadth of experience in engineering instruction and have Excellent presentation and communication skills. She is a successful organizer of seminars, Technical talks, and conferences. She is passionate to impart project guidance to students and thus encourage them to venture into the fascinating world of technology and science. She strongly believes that quality research initiatives have a tangible impact on teaching and outcome-based learning. As a faculty, she had always encouraged students to engage in volunteerism and social work along with their student life so that they can initiate changes in society.  She could touch many a lives by providing individual mentoring and handholding to students.
