Dr. Sreena Sreekumar is an accomplished academician currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Adi Shankara Institute since August 22, 2022. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) specializing in Electrical Engineering. Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree from Anna University, Chennai, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from Calicut University, Government Engineering College , Thrissur.
Dr. Sreena’s primary research interests lie in the areas of renewable energy technologies and power systems. Her work focuses on the development and integration of sustainable energy solutions, with an emphasis on improving efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact within power systems. She has contributed to several research projects and publications that address contemporary challenges in the evolving energy sector.
In addition to her research endeavors, Dr. Sreena is committed to excellence in teaching and mentorship. She actively engages with students and colleagues to foster an environment of academic rigor and innovation. Her expertise in renewable energy and power systems complements the institution’s mission to advance knowledge and promote sustainable development through engineering education.
