Blecy Rajan is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department, where she has served since 29th June 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) in 2024, followed by a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from ASIET in 2026.
Prior to joining as an Assistant Professor, Blecy served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from February to June 2026, contributing to undergraduate teaching, laboratory management, and student mentoring. Her research interests lie in the domains of Deep Learning, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), Medical Image Analysis, and Computer Vision. Her academic contributions include the publication of "Detection of Diseases in Tomato Leaves Using Deep Learning: A Survey" in the First International Conference on Trends in Engineering Systems and Technologies (2024) and "A Systematic Review of Deep Learning and Explainable AI Methods for Brain Tumor Classification from MRI Data" in the Proceedings of IEEE SPC-2026.
