Assistant Professor

Ms. Dona Joy is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department, where she has served since 10th November 2021.  She obtained  her  Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) from Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science (MG University)  in 2018, followed by a Master's degree in Transportation Engineering from Jyothi Engineering College (KTU) in 2020.

Ms. Dona Joy’s research interests are focused on Traffic Engineering and Pavement Engineering. She has shared her expertise by publishing three research papers in various international journals and conferences. Ms. Dona Joy has an experience of 3 years in teaching. Furthermore, Ms. Dona Joy is an active member in departmental consultancy work, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills.

Funded research projects : 
1.    The student project titled "Estimation of congestion cost evaluation and solution" got  CERD funding by APJAKTU under the scheme - Financial Assistance to Student Projects.
Year : 2022-23

Consultancy works : 
1.    Provided consultancy services to National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (NATPAC) which involved the Questionnaire survey at Vypin - Fort Kochi Ferry Route for the project “Performance evaluation of Kochi Water Metro”.
2.    Provided consultancy services to National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (NATPAC) which involved the Origin - Destination  survey and Classified Traffic Volume Count in Kothamangalam- Muvattupuzha stretch for the project “Angamaly - Erumeli Sabari Rail Project”.
3.    Provided consultancy services for "LID & EW Section" to test bitumen content in the given bitumen mix.
