Assistant Professor

Aswathy Jayakrishnan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology. She holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. Her academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.

Her teaching experience includes handling Computer Networks and Computer Networks Laboratory, along with mentoring undergraduate students in academic and technical projects. She also has technical industry experience as a Software Developer at Mastermine Technologies, where she worked on full-stack desktop application development and multi-agent LLM-based analytics systems using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Electron.js. Additionally, she gained experience in Natural Language Processing through an internship at ICT Academy Kerala.

Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a particular focus on Computer Vision, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), and Medical Image Analysis. She is interested in exploring advanced deep learning architectures, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Vision Transformers, for intelligent image analysis and recognition. Her research also encompasses Multimodal Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI, particularly the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) in developing intelligent and innovative AI-driven solutions.
